1. To kick off, beat the butter and all the sugars together until they are mixed up nicely and you have a smooth mixture and a dense but still somewhat runny form.

2. In the same mix, add the whole eggs and vanilla flavoring slowly while still stirring the mixture for smooth and equal distribution of flavor.

3. Next, you will require a separate container and mix the powdered or cream ingredients together including flour, baking soda, salt and cream of tartar. Make sure the mixture is smooth with evenly distributed ingredients throughout.

4. Combine the two mixtures together while spooning the flour mixture into the butter mixture slowly while stirring it vigorously for a good smooth mix. Ensure all the portions of the two mixtures get evenly mixed up and well blended.

5. At this stage, stir in the chocolate chips slowly as well for a better smooth mixture.

6. Spread the finished dough into a 15 half inch round pan that you have greased already nicely and smoothly to keep the mixture sticking to the pan and allow for an easy removal when done and avoid unnecessary breaking or crumbling of the cake.

7. Get the oven preheated to 350 degrees and place the pan in the oven baking the whole mixture for about 20 minutes or until when the surface of the cake is golden brown and nicely soft and fluffy like a good quality cake.

8. Remove the cake from the pan, set aside on a cake tray or foil for the excess heat to escape and cut into 15 equal portions if required and serve as preferred.

When serving the cakes domestically or on a smaller scale, packaging them is not required, but when trying to sell them commercially from supermarkets or bakeries, efficient packaging boxes will be required that not only have the ability to keep the cakes or other bakery items safe but also advertise them appropriately as well.
